Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing. If received by CCUA on or before Friday, September 27, 2024 registrant is entitled to a full refund. Cancellations after this date will incur a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds on cancellations received after Friday, October 4, 2024. Substitute registrants will be accepted at any time without penalty.

Kenny Aronoff is one of the world’s most influential and in demand drummers and percussionists. Rolling Stone Magazine named him as one of the “100 Greatest Drummers of All Time” and the readers of Modern Drummer Magazine named him the #1 Pop/Rock Drummer and #1 Studio Drummer. The list of artists he’s worked with on the road and/or in the studio is a who’s who of the music industry’s top talent.  Names like: Elton John, Bob Dylan, Celine Dion, John Fogerty, John Mellencamp, Avril Levine, Lady Gaga, Smashing Pumpkins and MANY more.

Moderator Sam Das, Managing Director at TruStage Ventures: Sam Das spearheads investments and advisement for early-stage fintech and insurtech startups. With a background as founder and CEO of a fintech startup, as well as experience in investment banking at firms like Houlihan Lokey, Das brings a wealth of expertise in strategic transactions valued at over $10 billion. In addition to his role at TruStage Ventures, Das serves as Vice President of Corporate Development, driving strategic initiatives for the organization since 2017. A graduate of Brown University with a degree in Applied Mathematics, Das is committed to fostering innovation and growth in the financial and insurance technology sectors.

Nicholas Hinrichsen, CEO & Co-Founder at Clutch: Nicholas Hinrichsen earned his MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business and co-founded a digital car retailing company in 2013, which he sold to Carvana in 2017. After three years with Carvana, Nicholas and his co-founder Chris Coleman launched Clutch to transform Credit Unions into FinTech lenders. They raised $41M in venture capital and acquired 110 Credit Unions as clients, enhancing their consumer-facing account opening and loan origination experiences.

Barry Kirby, CRO & Co-Founder of Union Credit: Barry Kirby is a highly accomplished professional in the fintech and credit union industry, currently serving as the Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer at Union Credit. Before this, he was the Senior Vice President and Managing Director at CuneXus, a subsidiary of TruStage. Barry's career includes significant contributions to business development, fintech product growth, strategic channel partnerships, client relations, marketing, underwriting, and risk assessment. He was also part of the original team that built the DecisionLender platforms and managed TCI for 15 years, a company later acquired by MeridianLink. With extensive experience and a proven track record, Barry continues to drive innovation and growth in the fintech sector.

Sarah Martin, CEO at Pulsate: Sarah Martin leads Pulsate, a mobile-first, personalized member engagement platform that helps customers optimize revenue and engagement through data-driven mobile marketing communications headquartered in Dublin. Before joining Pulsate, Sarah founded Mamabud, an e-commerce platform for direct business-to-consumer sales in China. Earlier in her career, she held key positions at Digicel and Unilever. Sarah holds an MBA and a Master's in Marketing from University College Dublin. With her diverse experience, she continues to drive innovation in mobile marketing and member engagement.

She connects deeply with her audiences through personal anecdotes and practical advice. Outside of speaking, she enjoys sand volleyball, music concerts, and coaching youth softball. Judy has been a vital part of the Credit Union League of Connecticut for more than ten years, starting as Training and Compliance Coordinator. She now serves as the Vice President of Compliance, offering expert services to affiliated credit unions across Connecticut. Before her tenure at the League, Judy amassed extensive experience as a compliance specialist and paralegal, adept at interpreting state and federal regulations, legal communications, and contracts. She also has a strong background in delivering compliance training.

Judy holds a degree in Business Management from Sacred Heart University and earned her Paralegal Certification from the University of Connecticut.

The above rate is subject to applicable taxes, currently 15% (subject to change) plus a reduced facility fee, $18.00.

All reservations must be guaranteed by a valid major credit card, which will be supplied at the time of reservation. Mohegan Sun requires a deposit equal to one night’s guestroom and tax to be submitted with each reservation. This deposit will be refunded if the reservation is cancelled prior to forty-eight (48) hours before arrival, after which time, this deposit is non-refundable.

Mohegan Sun room reservations must be made on or before the cut-off date of Tuesday, September 24, 2024 by 11:59 PM EST. Reservations received after Tuesday, September 24, 2024 will be accepted on availability and rate.

Federal Tax Exemption

To qualify for the federal tax exemption, federal credit unions must print and submit the Federal Tax Exemption Form to Mohegan Sun.
