Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, Hybrid

Working as a member of a cross-functional team, the Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing our organization's cybersecurity posture, leading the development and implementation of advanced security measures, and providing strategic guidance to protect our digital assets. Additional responsibilities include supporting other disciplines within the Cyber Security department.
Hybrid work environment- must be able to travel to our main office at least once a month.
Responsibilities
DLP Strategy and Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data loss prevention program to safeguard sensitive information across the credit union.
- Deploy and manage DLP solutions, ensuring they are effectively integrated with existing security infrastructure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and update DLP policies tailored to the organization's specific needs.
- Enforce data security policies and educate employees on best practices to prevent data leakage.
Security Operations
- Lead and oversee day-to-day security operations, including monitoring, incident response and investigation of security incidents. Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents and provide detailed incident reports.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the organization's security incident detection and response capabilities.
Threat Intelligence & Analysis
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of threat intelligence to identify potential risks and recommend proactive security measures.
- Work collaboratively with IT teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
Security Policy and Compliance
- Develop, review, and update cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of technology infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Updates metrics, and creates reports and presentations for committees, Boards, and other groups as needed.
Security Audits and Assessments
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls.
- Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to gather documentation, address findings, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements/Skills Needed
- 5-7 years of similar or combined experience in Cybersecurity threat hunting and analysis, and data loss prevention (DLP) systems.
- In-depth knowledge of DLP technologies, tools, and methodologies.
