Hartford FCU is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee finance, accounting, and IT operations. The CFO will direct all accounting, finance-related, and IT activities for the Credit Union and manage Accounting and IT staff.
Requirements: Qualified applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial institution accounting and financial management, including extensive supervisory experience. An MBA and/or CPA is preferred.
Skills needed: Strong leadership skills, the ability to manage and achieve long-term growth goals, strategic planning skills, and demonstrated ability to execute. The CFO will collaborate with the executive leadership team, staff at all levels, and the Board of Directors. Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), technical, and management skills are required.
